Background

  • HRDF Registered Training Provider refers to the company or organisation that acts as a Training Vendor to HRDF Registered Employers. In general, HRDF registered employers are allowed to make claims by attending trainings conducted by HRDF Registered Training Providers.


Who Can Register?

The entity must be registered or incorporated in Malaysia, under the Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) or Registrar of Society (ROS) - with either one of the following status:
  • Berhad (Bhd.) / Sendirian Berhad (Sdn. Bhd.)
  • Limited Liability Partnership (LLP)
  • Sole Proprietor / Enterprise
  • Association
  • Government / Semi Government Institution


Registration Requirements?

  • Fill up the online eTRiS form (Form PSMB/TP/1/14)
  • Owns a permanent office
  • Must have at least one (1) full time local trainer
  • Must have at least one (1) support staff
  • A registration fee of RM 1000 for main office/headquarters and RM500 for each branches (if any) for one year validity.
  • Company’s/Association’s business nature must be included under “Training or Consultancy Services”
  • The Training Provider’s Integrity Pledge form is needed to be signed by the owner or the director of the company and endorsed with company’s official stamp. This form need to be scan and upload into online application - Corporate Integrity Pledge (CIP)’s section.

How can a HRDF registered employer identify our company as HRDF Registered Training Provider?
All listing of HRDF Registered Training Provider can be viewed by public on www.hrdf.com.my (Online Listing)
How long is this registration valid?
This registration is valid for ONE (1) year.
Do we have to our own training facilities?
It is best to own your training facilities but it is optional.
Does co-working space counts as a permanent office?
Co-working space is allowed only if your company has a permanent or designated room. Hourly or daily rental is not allowed.
Are we allowed to have a home based office?
Yes. Photos of the house are required.
How long does the registration process take?
The process will take about 3 working days, subject to the number of application and queries received.

Renewal

Renewal application will be available from 1 March 2021. Registration validity is extended until 1 May 2021. Please refer to Training Provider Circular No.4/2020 for further details.


How to renew?

  • Login to e-tris.
    Select APPLICATION -> CLICK PROFILE MANAGEMENT -> CLICK TRAINING PROVIDER-> CLICK TRAINING PROVIDER RENEWAL APPLICATION
  • Fill up the relevant areas.
  • The renewal fee is RM 3000 for 3 years.
  • Submit the hardcopy of Integrity Pledge form to HRDF office, attention to Risk Management Department by hand or postage


FAQ

Can we renew before the expiry?
Yes. You can renew three (3) months prior expiry.
Can I make a renewal a month after expiry?
Yes. You can proceed with your renewal application WITHIN six (6) months from expiry date.
Am I allowed to make a renewal one year after my expiry?
No. You are required to register as a new applicant.

How to change your company’s address?

Address Modification

  • Login to eTRiS. Select Application> Training Provider> Profile Management> Address modification. Fill up the relevant area.
  • Application Fee : RM 1000.00 (for less than a year from registration date)

Program Registration (SBL Khas)

  • SBL Khas will be extended until 31 December 2021. All current SBL KHAS registered courses will be extended until 31 December 2021 without any additional charges.


How to register program?

  • Login to eTRiS. Select Application > Profile Management > Training Programme > Register for Training Programme. Fill in the relevant information.
  • No registration fee is required.
  • An agreement between the Training Provider and HRDF is compulsory for the first time registration application.

FAQ

What is the validity period of the registration?
The registration is valid until 31 December 2021.
Does an external trainer requires a TTT certificate?
No. However, the trainer must provide his/her profile and that stated their credential as an external trainer in the application.
Can the Training Provider add or delete trainers?
Yes, as long as it meets the criteria of the minimum two (2) trainers.
What are the documents required for SBL Khas claim?
The documents required are an invoice to HRDF, Claim Form (PSMB_SBL-KHAS_JD_14) and the attendance list (PSMB_SBLKHAS_T03/01)
Aside from Training Fee, what else is claimable by the Training Provider?
Training Provider is only allowed to claim a training fee.
How to add new trainer profile?
Go to Application > Profile management > Training programme > Trainer profile management > New Trainer Profile Management
How to change the trainer’s information?
Go to Application > Profile management > Training programme > Trainer profile management > Update Trainer Profile Management
How to add new trainers to training programme?
Trainer has TTT/TTT exemption.
Trainer background is in line with the programme.
Application > Profile Management > Training Programme > Trainer modification.
Select the programme that is required to add trainer.

Tips :
  • Training Provider needs to provide an E-slip that generated from the system to HRDF after submission of the training courses. Application > Profile Management > Training Programme > Form 2 – E-Slip Form
  • All registered trainers must possess relevant competency and skills that align with the programme
  • Please respond to the inquiry as soon as possible to avoid delay on your application. Check your email frequently for updates.
  • Training provider can claim the Training Fee only after the training is conducted.
  • An external trainer from overseas does not require a TTT certificate if they are solely coming to Malaysia to conduct the training.
  • It is compulsory for those who are applying for the first time to sign an agreement with HRDF.
