Background

  • HRDF Registered Training Provider refers to the company or organisation that acts as a Training Vendor to HRDF Registered Employers. In general, HRDF registered employers are allowed to make claims by attending trainings conducted by HRDF Registered Training Providers.


Who Can Register?

  • Company registered or incorporated under Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) :Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), Sendirian Berhad (SDN BHD) and BERHAD (BHD)
  • Association/Industry based training centre
  • Government/Semi-Government Institution


Registration Requirements?

  • Fill up the online eTRiS form (Form PSMB/TP/1/14)
  • Owns a permanent office
  • Must have at least one (1) full time local trainer
  • Must have at least one (1) support staff
  • A registration fee of RM 3000.00 for main office/headquarters and RM 1500.00 for each branches (if any).
  • Company’s/Association’s business nature must be included under “Training or Consultancy Services”
  • Submission of a filled-in and signed copy of HRDF’s Integrity Pledge form to HRDF office by hand or via mail: Attention to Risk Management Department.

How can a HRDF registered employer identify our company as HRDF Registered Training Provider?
All listing of HRDF Registered Training Provider can be viewed by public on www.hrdf.com.my (Online Listing)
How long is this registration valid?
This registration is valid for three (3) years.
Do we have to our own training facilities?
It is best to own your training facilities but it is optional.
Does co-working space counts as a permanent office?
Co-working space is allowed if only your company have a permanent or designated working space. Hourly or daily rental is not allowed.
Are we allowed to have a home based office?
Yes. Photos of the house are required.
How long does the registration process take?
The process can take about 7 working days, subject to the number of application and queries received.
Document checklist (softcopy):
  • At least one (1) full time trainer Train The Trainer (TTT) certificate
  • Photos of company signage
  • Photos of work area
  • Latest tenancy agreement/ sales and purchase
  • Integrity Pledge form

Renewal

  • HRDF Registered Training Provider certificate is valid for three (3) years. Upon expiry, any training conducted is no longer claimable.


How to renew?

  • Login to e-tris.
    Select APPLICATION -> CLICK PROFILE MANAGEMENT -> CLICK TRAINING PROVIDER-> CLICK TRAINING PROVIDER RENEWAL APPLICATION
  • Fill up the relevant areas.
  • The renewal fee is RM 3000 for 3 years.
  • Submit the hardcopy of Integrity Pledge form to HRDF office, attention to Risk Management Department by hand or postage


FAQ

Can we renew before the expiry?
Yes. You can renew three (3) months prior expiry.
Can I make a renewal a month after expiry?
Yes. You can proceed with your renewal application WITHIN six (6) months from expiry date.
Am I allowed to make a renewal one year after my expiry?
No. You are required to register as a new applicant.

How to change your company’s address?

Address Modification

  • Login to eTRiS. Select Application> Training Provider> Profile Management> Address modification. Fill up the relevant area.
  • Application Fee : RM 1000.00 (for less than a year from registration date)

Program Registration (SBL Khas)

  • Based on the Training Providers Circular No. 2/2004, PSMB has imposed a requirement that training providers need to register their training programme under the SBL-Khas Scheme if they wish to offer it to the employers who are registered under the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF).


How to register program?

  • Login to e-tris. Select Application - Profile Management -Training Programme - Register for Training Programme. Fill up the relevant area.
  • Application fee: RM 300 per program
  • It is compulsory for those making an application for the first time to sign an agreement with HRDF.
  • For first time application, it will be process up to one month. However for next application it will be processed within two weeks


How to renew program registration?

  • Login to eTRiS. Select Application - Profile Management -Training Programme - Register for Training Programme-Renewal Training Program
  • Application fee: RM 200.00
  • Program has been conducted at least one time
  • Document checklists:

FAQ

Are conferences and seminar programmes allowed to register? And how much would it cost?
Yes. Training Provider is allowed to register Conference and Seminar at RM 300 per program.
How long is this registration valid?
Training programmes are valid for three (3) years, Seminar valid for one (1) year and Conference requires a one off approval.
Can I renew programme if the programme was never conducted?
No. Registered programmes must be conducted at least once.
Are guest trainers from abroad required TTT certificate?
No. However, the trainer must provide his/her profile and stated that he or she is a guest trainer in application.
Can I change or modify the course content after approval?
Any changes in course content are not allowed. Any changes made will result the application to be considered as a new programme.
Can the Training Provider add or delete trainers?
Yes, as long as it meets the minimum of two (2) trainers.
What are the documents required for SBL Khas claim?
The documents required are an invoice to HRDF, Claim Form (PSMB_SBL-KHAS _JD_14) and the attendance list (PSMB_SBLKHAS_T03/01)
Aside from Training Fee, what else is claimable by the Training Provider?
The Training Provider is only allowed to claim training fee.

Application > Profile management > Training programme > Trainer profile management > New Trainer Profile Management
How to change trainer’s information?
Application > Profile management > Training programme > Trainer profile management > Update Trainer Profile Management
How to add new trainers to training programme?
■ Trainer has TTT / TTT exemption
■ Trainer background is in line with the program
■ Application > Profile Management > Training Programme > Trainer modification
■ Select the programme that is required to add trainer
■ Select the trainer to add to the programme

  • Please ensure all registered Trainers must possess relevant competency and skills align with the program
  • Response to the inquiry as soon as possible to avoid delay on your application. Check your email frequently for updates.
  • Registration is valid for 3 years
  • Please keep at least one copy of attendance list for renewal.
  • Training provider can claim Training Fee only after the training is conducted.
  • Guest trainer from overseas do not required a TTT certificate if they are solely coming to Malaysia to conduct the training.
  • It is compulsory for those making an application for the first time to sign an agreement with HRDF.
