TOWARDS AN EQUITABLE SOCIETY

HRDF to help B40 group through
Capacity Building Scheme

HRDF launched a new learning and development scheme targeted at the country’s B40 group (Bottom 40 per cent of local households earning less than RM3,860 per month) to arm participants with specific skills and knowledge; enabling them to secure employment, gain a promotion and/or to earn a better income.
As part of the festive season, HRDF also presented children from Pertubuhan Nur Syaheera with Raya tokens.

Work or family: Why not both?

HRDF funded 500 private employees attending the LPPKN parenting skills course for this year

The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry (KPWKM) has roped in the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) to expand its parenting skills course conducted by the National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN) to employers and private workers for the strengthening of family institutions.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the funding is through the provision of training fee incentives to employers registered with HRDF and is a pilot project between HRDF and LPPKN to almost 27,000 registered companies.

CREATING MOMENTUM

HRDF’s New Vision and Mission

FOUND MY MISSING PIECE

“GENERATE gave a new hope for my future”,
said Akmal Haziq

“I’ve completed my diploma in Mechatronic Engineering in 2016 at a Polytechnic but I failed to get calls for interview. I’ve been stereotypically labelled as “Fresh Grad”; therefore, lack of experience in working life. After being unemployed for about 6 months, I found my missing piece by applying for “Radio Frequency Wireless Network Engineering” course organised by ACE Training Malaysia under HRDF GENERATE programme.
I’ve been exposed to various telecommunication advancement, AutoCAD and experience on real working life situation in telecommunication field and techniques to excel at interviews. Currently I’ve been appointed as a Project Coordinator in Docom Resources, Selangor.
