AN INVESTMENT IN EDUCATION PAYS THE BEST INTEREST!

HRDF provides educational assistance to 941 students of various ages from 452 families in Ipoh


The Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR) in partnership with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) provided 941 students from 452 families in Ipoh with educational assistance through its ‘Cahaya Ilmu’ programme.

The aid presented by the Honourable Minister of Human Resources, Yang Berhormat M. Kula Segaran is part of the Ministry and the Fund’s efforts to ease the educational expenses of these students from underprivileged families.

The programme also aims to encourage the selected students to save and invest in their future with the National Education Savings Scheme or Skim Simpanan Pendidikan Nasional (SSPN).



HRDF OPENS DOOR FOR LEARNING



HRDF welcomed a group of 30 students and two professors from Bryant University, United States of America on January 9, 2020 for a study trip known as Sophomore International Experience (SIE) Malaysia Singapore to establish an Asian experience for the students. We had an opportunity to share our insights on HRDF, work cultures in Malaysia, and the cultural differences between Asian countries and United States during the interactive session with the students.

HRDF’s 2019 Achievements and Way Forward Plans for the New Decade


This year, HRDF plans to approve 1.25 million training places, an increase of 20 per cent from last year. Similarly, the Fund aims to approve 60,000 training places for industry certification programmes in 2020.




KEEP CALM AND GO BOWLING!


HRDF staff headed to Wangsa Bowl @ 1 Utama for a fiery Bowling Tournament on January 4, 2020. The battle had brought 144 attendees from 4 different teams of Red Tiger, Green Bear, Yellow Lion and Blue Cheetah. After a hard-fought battle, the Yellow Lion team successfully grabbed the winning title.
