Online Distance Learning Scheme (ODL)
This scheme enables employers to obtain the financial assistance in terms of skills retraining and increase the knowledge of their workforce under the online distance learning. As the country move towards knowledge-based economy and value the importance of information and communication technology (ICT) as the strategic driver to support the growth of economy, HRDF has to move forward in-line with the needs of the employers and the country’s agenda. Currently, the usage of the Internet has led to the growth of e-learning as another source of online education and training.
Employers are required to submit their application form using PSMB/PGL/1/09 under SBL scheme before the commencement of the training. Completed form needs to be submitted via on-line by login to HRDF’s website at www.hrdf.com.my. Employers need to use the given password upon using this application system. The password can be requested by writing formally to PSMB if it is not available. The application form needs to be submitted to HRDF by attaching the following supporting documents :-
(i) a copy of the Offer Letter/Confirmation Letter for the online distance learning issued by the training centers, colleges and university with the title of the programme and specific duration (total hours of training and validity period);
(ii) a copy of programme; and
(iii) a copy of course fees (quotation).
