PLT SCHEME (ANNUAL TRAINING PLAN)
Under the PLT Scheme, employers are encouraged to analyze and identify training needs and submit the programmes proposed to be carried out over a twelve-month period. Annual Training Plans should be based on training needs identified which should include significant training activities.
The training plan must cover at least 10% of the company’s total workforce with at least 15% of them from the lower level employees, having SPM qualifications and below. An effective monitoring system must be established by the employer to ensure the effectiveness of training.
To assist employers, PSMB has approved the Juruplan Scheme whereby employers can engage training consultants to assist them in identifying training needs, formulating training programmes and preparing the annual training plan.
HOW TO APPLY

Fill up form PSMB/PLT/1/01 (this form is a compilation of data of the overall training programmes);

Fill up form PSMB/PGL/1/07 for each programme in the training plan and attach all the supporting documents as specified under the SBL Scheme.

Submit the duly completed forms to PSMB one (1) month before the commencement of training or at least a day before the commencement of the first training programme. Employers are also allowed to submit application forms namely, PSMB/PGL/1/07, once in every 3 months; and

Approval will be sent together with the list of the approved programmes.
