SME TRAINING PARTNERS (SMETAP) SCHEME
Special Training Programmes are organised by PSMB in collaboration with training providers under the SMETAP Scheme from time to time. Training programmes offered are:-
a) Business Finance For SME Entrepreneurs & Managers b) Certificate In Industrial Relations c) Coaching & Mentoring For Performance Improvement d) Customer Relationship Skills e) Effective Sales Strategies Programme f) Evaluation On Effectiveness Of Training g) Expanding Your Market Programme h) IT Security Management i) IT Security Practices j) Problem Solving & Creativity k) Train The Trainer l) Web Designing
The rate of financial assistance is 100%.
HOW TO APPLY
a) PSMB will circulate training brochures to registered employers from time to time.
b) Registration forms must be submitted before the stipulated closing date.
HOW TO CLAIM (EMPLOYER)
a) Claims form PSMB/STP/T1/07 will be made available at the training venues and employers are required to complete and submit the forms to PSMB upon the completion of the course.
b) Eligibility for trainees’ daily allowances, if applicable is as follows:-
i) > 50 km – RM250 per day per trainee (include hotel accommodation);
ii) < 50 km – RM100 per day per trainee.
c) Economy class airfare for out-station participants, if applicable.
SMETAP Programmes in Collaboration with Government Training Provider
These programmes are in collaboration between Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB) and Government training providers such as Industrial Training Institutes (ILP), Centre for Instructor and Advanced Skill Training (CIAST), Advanced Technology Training Centre (ADTEC) and National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) under SME Training Partners (SMETAP) Scheme. These programmes are mostly technical base which will improve workers skills level and at the same time increase company productivity.
