Summary: Enables employers to obtain financial assistance at the rate of 100% to purchase basic training equipment and set up training rooms subject to a maximum of 20% of the total levy contributed for the previous year.
PURCHASE OF TRAINING EQUIPMENT AND SETTING UP OF TRAINING ROOM SCHEME
The scheme enables employers to obtain financial assistance at the rate of 100% to purchase basic training equipment and set up training rooms subject to a maximum of 20% of the total levy contributed for the previous year.
Employers must obtain prior approvals from PSMB before purchasing the equipment and / or before renovating the training rooms. This scheme encourages employers to conduct more in-house training programmes as well as to enhance a training culture amongst them.
HOW TO APPLY
* Fill up form PSMB/PL/1/01. * Attach quotation(s) as follows:
i) 1 quotation for the purchase of training equipment; and ii) 3 quotations from 3 contractors for setting up and for renovation works of the training room.
* Submit the duly completed form with relevant supporting documents to PSMB.
HOW TO CLAIM
* Fill up form PSMB/PL/T/01 and submit it together with invoices and receipts to PSMB after purchases have been made or renovations completed.
