Summary: This scheme enables employers to purchase or develop specific computer training software (CBT) for financial assistance from HRDF.

COMPUTER-BASED TRAINING SCHEME (CBT) (PURCHASE AND SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT)
The scheme enables employers to purchase training software (CBT) without having to obtain prior approvals from PSMB. Under the scheme, employers are also allowed to develop specific computer-based training programmes / softwares. However, prior approvals from PSMB must be obtained. The rate of financial assistance is based on the skill areas in which the training softwares are being developed by employers.
HOW TO APPLY (FOR DEVELOPING TRAINING SOFTWARE ONLY)
- Prepare a proposal with the appropriate justifications and state the duration of development.
- Attach quotations from 3 consultants to develop the training software.
HOW TO CLAIM

All claims must be submitted to PSMB by using forms PSMB/CBT/T/01.

Submit receipts, itemised invoices (cost for each title / training module) and also a copy of the summarised course contents.
